is the final stage of grief, and the first step to moving on.
today was my second last day of class. i found out the friend i recently made during the joint worship night preparation meetings actually attended woburn, but neither of us even recall seeing each other. we will be digging up the yearbooks. i finished a bit early so i took a walk up to the realm of physics which i had not been to since enveloping myself in english. most of my physics buddies have gone downtown to complete their specialist degrees, but there was one working in the physics lab and we had a pleasant chat about all that physicsy stuff that i no longer think about with any regularity.
today was my last chance to see the ACF buddies who unknowingly pulled me out of a lonely funk in earlier years. unfortunately, there was a seminar scheduled for the exact same time and i did not get to go. i bumped into Joy in my wanderings after class, before the seminar, and notified her that i would not be joining them for this last meeting. she told me she was going to cry and traced a tear-path. i told her to keep me updated on any summer gatherings before heading off to patrol the old haunts where i once laboured over crosswords and jumbles, just to let my imminent departure really sink in.
today i was offered acceptance to teacher's college at OISE; i have accepted.
